Ethan in my class (Year 6) asked a super question today - 'Can we go swimming elsewhere, or cycle in our own time to complete even MORE miles on our progress cards' - the answer is of course yes. You have just over TWO weeks to complete your triathlon. The more you swim, cycle and run the better. Sponsor forms and letters went out today. Don't forget, Max and the wonderful staff at Bristol South Swimming Pool are giving our Luckwell pupils ONE free swim. Furthermore, on Thursday, we will complete a cycle and scoot leg over on the hard court. Finally, we will run a MAGIC MILE during the week beginning 14th March.

A New Year (2/9/15) I am super, super excited for 2015/16 and what it has to offer by way of P.E and Sports. There will be clubs starting soon, and the football team will begin their league matches in the coming weeks. Children will receive a note informing them of when their P.E lessons will be. There will be TWO lessons - one OUTDOOR and one INDOOR. Children must have the appropriate kit in for these days. For indoor lessons, shorts and a polo shirt is perfect. For outdoor lessons, espcially as winter draws nearer, warmer clothing may be required.
