We recognise that the most effective schools work in partnership with their families, and consequently we work hard to establish an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
Whilst we use the word ‘parents’, we realise that there are many other carers for children – foster carers, adoptive parents, grandparents, guardians, etc – and we value all equally. Here, we use the word parents to represent the role of child reponsibility / care giver, rather than the relationship.
