The simplest and most effective way is just by taking an interest in your child's learning: asking them about their day, reading with them regularly and helping them with their homework.
If you have the time or the inclination to take things further, we would be delighted to welcome you in to our school as a volunteer.

You may also have a particular skill, hobby or passion that you could share - arts, music, computing, science and design all spring to mind. We have also recently had parents leading on after-school clubs and often look to parents to come in and share their working roles when we talk about careers with our older children.
If you feel that you can help in any way, always begin by approaching the office or one of our teachers.
It may be that the activity you have in mind requires a DBS check - a formal background check to make sure you are cleared to work with young people. If this is the case we can advise on this process.
